How will my training plan be delivered?
We use state of the art software to deliver your training program to you. Once your coach has designed the first four weeks of your training program (within 3 working days of receiving your questionnaire and clarifying any details), you’ll receive login details. Here you’ll be able to log your completed training sessions, make comments and record some simple metrics such as sleep and heart rate, so that we can keep track of how your body is coping with the training we’ve set. Your coach will also make comments within your training log.
You can ask questions within your training log, and also on the Members Facebook page. On the Facebook page, you’ll also be able to connect with other Hooked on Runners, and take part in discussions on all things running. For questions specific to your training, it’s usually best to pop them in your training log to be sure to get a prompt answer.

Will it work for me?
For sure. We create training plans for all race distances, and for all levels of ability. Even if you haven’t run since primary school, we can help! We keep on top of your training, and monitor you closely. We’ve trained hundreds of runners, and have been running for a fair while ourselves! We keep up to date with the latest research on training and coaching. Add that to over 45 years of combined coaching experience, and you’re giving yourself the best chance for success. We can’t kick you out of bed in the morning, but we’re offering the next best thing!
How frequently does my coach give feedback?
That depends on the level of coaching you’ve registered for. You’ll receive feedback from our coaching staff at least once a week (usually more) on our basic customised coaching level. If you opt for the premium level, you’ll receive your own dedicated coach who’ll be in contact via your training log two to three times a week, and/or via email for more detailed feedback. If we feel you’re going through a period when you need more support, we’ll give it to you. Our Woman to Woman premium online trainers will see their coach once a week, and receive feedback via the training log and email.
How many months do I sign up for?
We usually take people on for a minimum of three months, (2 months for Woman to Woman training) as we feel that’s a good amount of time to gain some real benefits from our training. Contact us for other options, if that doesn’t quite fit in with your plans.
How do I pay for online running coaching?
We accept payments through Paypal, either using your Paypal account, or using Visa or Mastercard.
